Data Insights
New Data Insights are added when data that can be refined and localised to the Bega Valley LGA becomes available. The insights can be sorted alphabetically or by the time they were added, they can also be searched by category, keyword and dataset.
The Data Insights are interactive and have their own summary, the data can be viewed in table or chart form. Each Data Insight has a data source that can be expanded to show the datasets being used along the with measured quantity and any filters and calculations applied.
The Data Insights have been analysed and formatted based on geographical comparison and available timelines.
The Bega Valley LGA has been compared with the Capital Region (Statistical Area 4) and New South Wales. The Capital Region includes the Bega Valley LGA as well as nearby regional LGA’s including – Snowy Monaro, Eurobodalla, Queanbeyan-Palerang, Goulburn Mulwaree, Yass Valley, Upper Lachlan, Hilltops. The Capital Region area does not include the Australian Capital Territory.
Statistical Area 4 (SA4) Regions in NSW.
Statistical Area 2 (SA2) has been used as a comparison in some Data Insights when available. SA2’s are smaller areas, SA2’s within the Bega Valley LGA include: Bega-Tathra, Bega-Eden Hinterland, Narooma-Bermagui, Merimbula-Tura Beach and Eden.
